151 Wavetables for SERUM

£15.00

7 instruments, 151 wavetables, 19,088 single-cycle waves; every one of them is a real cycle recorded off real hardware — no modelling, no resynthesis, nothing drawn in software.

This is the collection I kept meaning to put together. The captures go back several years and were sitting in a dozen different formats, at a dozen different frame sizes. Pulling them into one set that loads cleanly into Serum took more work than making them did.

WHAT’S IN IT

Pittsburgh Voltage Lab 2 — 51 tables. The waveshaping section, every shape through Warp, Reflect, PosNeg, Focus, AGC and PWM.

Analogue Solutions Maximus — 15 tables. Filter sweeps at four resonance settings, plus PWM, sync and SQ sweeps.

Frap Tools Magnolia — 11 tables. The Osc 1 wavefolder at seven shape positions, plus four Osc 2 sweeps.

Pittsburgh Taiga — 8 tables. The four core shapes and their blends across the wave control.

Sequential Prophet VS — 1 table. All 128 of the VS waves, in order.

Korg DW8000 — 1 table. All 16 DW8000 waveforms.

Novation Peak — 64 tables.

Nearly every table holds 128 waves. Two Maximus tables hold 64, and the DW8000 table holds its 16. Serum morphs across whatever a table holds, so a 64-wave table behaves exactly like a 128-wave one — it just has fewer stops along the way.

If you already own my 52 Voltage Lab 2 Wavetables or the Serum & Pigments Wavefolding Wavetables, those tables are included here.

FORMAT

Mono, 32-bit float, 44.1 kHz, 2048 samples per wave, with the ‘clm ‘ chunk that tells Serum the frame size. There is nothing to set on import — drop the folder in and the tables read correctly.

Serum 1 — …/Xfer Records/Serum Presets/Tables/

Serum 2 — …/Xfer Records/Serum 2 Presets/Tables/

The same files load in Vital, Bitwig Grid, Phase Plant, Ableton Wavetable and anything else that reads 2048-sample frames.
